Extra Translation Notes for 14th Touhou M-1 Grand Prix

Lunasa: "One day, from Jamie Oriver..."
The original name said is "Kawakami Chef". "kawakami" literally means "upstream".

Merlin: "Matryoshk, huh?!"
The original line isn't "Matryoshk, huh?!" but rather "Matoryosh ka?!" Appending "ka" to a sentence
makes it a question; think of it like a question mark. "Matryoshka" became "matryosh ka".



--[Witch Doll]--

Marisa: "Mountains are dangerous."
While on-stage to promote/commemorate the release of the movie Samurai Marathon, the actress
Nana Komatsu said that she wants to go mountaineering (preferrably at least 2000 meters) by the end of
the Heisei era which was to end a couple of months later. In response, the actor Takeru Satoh quipped by
saying "yama namen'na yo" which roughly means "Don't make light of mountains" and is the line Marisa says.
